Cedrice Kenney
Advocate. Mentor. School Counselor

About Me
Welcome!
My name is Cedrice Kenney, I am a graduate of James Madison University with my Masters Degree in School Counseling. I am a West Virginia native, and obtained my Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Science with a minor in Education from Shepherd University. After traveling throughout the state as a lead 4-H camp counselor I found my calling serving and helping those with mental health needs.
Throughout the past two years I have gained experience working with diverse youth populations in the following areas: Serving as an individual counselor to students from K-12, and running groups on anger management, friendship skills, attention focusing, and self-esteem. Through my training at James Madison, I have learned the importance of classroom guidance, individual, and group counseling to a comprehensive counseling program.

I am eager to find the perfect school, where I can collaborate with teachers and administrators to help our students.
I look forward to showing my progress and journey as a School Counselor.
